Barossa
With 13,000 hectares of vineyard, weekly markets and shops selling some of the most popular wine brands. Barossa is a great place to spend some free time if you want to leave city life for the day.

Fleurieu Peninsula
An hours drive will get you to Fleurieu. Between May and October you may be lucky enough to spot a whales! Explore caves or a spot of fishing, no matter what you choose, its going to be relaxing.

Flinders Rangers
Home still to many indigenous people in SA. Flinders Ranges is the spot where some of the oldest fossils in the world have been discovered. Just under a four hour drive, this place is worth the visit. Beautiful scenery and if you can stay longer than a day, then camp under the stars!

Kangaroo Island
You will need to wake up early for this one. Head to Australia's third largest island and one of its main tourist attractions. This island has plenty to see and do. National reserves and parks, beautiful coastlines and incredible trekking opportunities.
