"A good spot to park yourself for a while"
Improving streetscape with many weatherboards being replaced by new brick pseudo moderns. A very nice average suburban street in great location near transport, parks, shops. Only disadvantages are the amount of through traffic cutting between main roads and the narrow Eastern end of the street where parked cars on boths sides sometimes make driving through a slow chore. Land prices keep going up. Great if you already own a patch.

"A great street "If you can afford it!""
Almond St is a nice street in Caulfield South. It road is very wide which gives it the feel that there is plenty of room. THe street is quite and there is never any dispuptions to the peace. There is plenty of facilities, whether it be sport, the London Tavern, the YMCA, Glen Huntly Road Shopping precinct, Public Transport - All within walking distance.
The rental prices are quite high in this street, I havent seen a For Sale sign up in the 2 years I have lived here but Im guessing you want a minimum half a million to even get a sniff of owning Real Estate in this street!
A few hot tips on places to eat - The Caulfield South Charcoal Chicken and Pizza Max in Elsternwick are great. As well as the Indian Restuarant on the corner of Hawthorn & Glen Huntley roads.
Very Nice Street though and I thouroughly enjoy living here
