No, get this right, the library is funded by the residents and ratepayers of Hobsons Bay, supported by a grant from the tax payer of Victoria. Dont forget the Altona East Library was closed several years before the useless council got around to allocating residents money for a new library. Give credit where credit is due, its the residents and ratepayers who year after year pay through their noses to build and maintain infrastructure in Altona North.
