Reviews of Alwyn St, Mitcham
"Beautiful tree lined Street"
Beautiful tree lined Street with lovely character older homes, but is busy due to the cut through from Rooks Road to Mitcham Road.
I have leased and managed many houses in this Street and have found tenants love it due to its beautiful trees, locality to Mitcham Road shops and short (10-15 minute) walk to Mitcham train station.
You'll pay a premium to live in this street as its one of the most popular. You will get a decent rental return and know it will get leased due to popularity.

"The Picket Fence Dream"
Under a canopy of plain trees, character weatherboards and picket fences line the footpaths of Alwyn Street, one of Mitcham's quaintest streets. Homes have been renovated and updated with pride and children are regularly seen playing outside while mums and dads tend to their gardens. Running off Mitcham Road and with Rangeview shopping strip at the end of the street, Alwyn can be a busy little thoroughfare at times but every convenience and public transport option is only a short walk away. A lovely street in which to live!
