"A great suburb to raise a family"
Parkinson is located only 25 minutes drive from Brisbane’s CBD and is well known for its lakes, parks and natural bushland. Parkinson is perfectly located near all major freeways for easy access to the gold coast, Ipswich or Brisbane’s airport. This makes it perfect for a family who has work commitments in Brisbane but then wants to relax on the beach on the weekends. It’s just over 30 minutes drive to all the major theme parks like dream world, Sea World and movie world. There are two shops with in 5 minutes drive that have an IGA and Woolworths for you convenience. Grand Plaza shopping centre is just over 5 minutes drive away and is home to over 170 specialty stores and even has 8 Cinemas. There are several schools in the area and public transport is only a few minutes walk away. Parkinson has heaps of play grounds and bike tracks for your family to enjoy, so why would you want to buy anywhere else.
