Reviews of Athenry Terrace, Templestowe

"A pleasant street to live in"

I have been living in Athenry Terrace since 1998 and would have to say that it is a pleasant street to live in. It is very obvious that everyone is house proud as most houses have nice front lawns/gardens. Westfield and the Pines shopping centres are close and there is a decent amount of schools in Templestowe and Doncaster East. Most blocks in Athenry are 700-900 square metres in size with a decent amount of space between properties. It is a quiet and safe street with many families. Sometimes the street has a few too many cars parked on the street but overall it is fine. Neighbours are good and tend to keep to themselves mostly but everyone does look out for each other. Houses on the high side have a nice view of Tikalara Park and some of the Electrical substation which isn't so great on the eyes but more often than not the view is covered by the tall trees. Also there is minor traffic noise from Warrandyte Rd (for houses on the North side of the street). However you tend to get used to it after a while and isn't really anything to worry about.
