"Lived here three years now, hard to find a reason to move"
It's a small street and the neighbours all know each other but don't live in each others pockets. They keep an eye on your house, I've never had a break in or issues with thugs in the time I've been here. You get the odd idiot from Russell Street or surrounds who rev their cars and drive too fast down Auld Street but it's not often. Lots of birds, green tree frogs which are a good indicator of a healthy eco system. Mice and rats are prevalent but this is due to neighbourly chooks, if you have a cat, you'll get lots of presents on your back doorstep. Big yards so bring a mower. Easy to grow plants, trees and flowers due to excellent soil. No worries about flooding except if you're on a slope which may cause run off in the sheds. All in all, it's been a lovely place for the years I've been here and my kids are happy.
Cable internet and pay tv is excellent, Free to air can be a challenge if you get a house with old antenna.
