Reviews of Autry Court, Stafford Heights

"A great family-friendly environment"

Autry Ct is a quiet little cul-de-sac that is a part of a 1980's housing estate just off Trouts Road. It is within walking distance to a small, slow-paced shopping complex which includes an IGA supermarket as well as a cafe, medical centre and a gift shop that is also partly a cafe (something that is very much unheard of). The centre plays a big part of the community and if you know people who live close to the centre, you would be quite likely to see at least one of them when you visit there. Other facilities within walking distance from Autry Ct include McDowall State School, bus stops, a nature strip with a playground and dog off-leash area and the Downfall Creek environmental centre, which includes an information centre, walking trails, barbeques and picnic tables, etc.
What is undoubtedly the most prominent part of Autry Ct is the large mystique yellow building at the end of the cul-de-sac. The building, which differs significantly to the rest of the neighbourhood, is what was supposed to be a luxury mansion, which would have been suitable for a large family and a few pool parties, but it had never been finished and still remains unfinished over 20 years later.
