Backhouse Road, Kingsley, WA 6026

Awesome road, very quiet as it is not used as a main through road. Really friendly neighbours with well kept gardens. Next to Barridale park and Shepherds bush for nice walks and a new BMX track for the kids (and adults). Perfection.

Weve lived in Backhouse Rd for many years now, would gladly move as we near retirement age, preferably to a smaller home in the same street.

We wave each morning to the sound of birds in the trees and the accasional Kookaburras coming up from the parks at each end of the street. Most for the neighbours have been here forever; not many people move on elsewhere, which I think says something.

Plenty fo shopping around up with Kingsley Village only 2 minutes away, this is bcoming a quaint little boutique type of shopping centre with Dome Cafe and its yummy breakfasts, Deli Devine and WA Cleanskins with their moorish treats, Kingsley Thai is to die for! All the usauals are there, pool shop, newsagency/post office, fast food galore, Kingsley Meats which is the best butchery by far and so much more. Woodvale shopping centre is 3 minutes further away as is Kingsway with Big W and all the usual shops; and Whitfords Shopping Centre is about 8 minutes away too!

There's plenty of sporting clubs and facilities, "dog's club" as we locals call it meets nightly as we all take our pups for a run in the park and chat and laugh, there's lovely waking tracks everywhere and public transport seems to be everywhere. The schools have excellent reputations and we even have the Mayor of Joondalup living just around the corner. Seems were not the only ones who love living here...
