"Family Friendly"
Has had an older population base, but is slowly changing with more young families moving into the area. Walking distance to kindergarten, public schools, childcare facilities, university and short drive to several private schools. Close to playgrounds, parks, bike trail (that goes all the way into the city), golf club, YMCA recreation centre etc...
Only minutes to bus and short drive to 2 rail lines. Short walk to major supermarket, Ashburton High Street traders only a brisk walk or short drive away. Fantastic medical, dental and veterinary services within the local area. Chadstone Shopping Centre only 10 minutes away! Best of all, only 15km's from the CBD and a quick trip down the Monash Freeway.
All in all a fantastic spot for a young family!
