were a kiwi (maori actually) family who emigrated from new zealand. we found kingston awesum, the houses are modern, the school is brand new and well positioned, the ppl are friendly, no crime? basically a big change from where we came from. lots of kiwi families thea, u can play netball, swim or touch down at the leisure centre which is a 5 minute walk from most of the houses. good mix of ppl, lots of kiwis and a safe place to live. my kids had heaps of friends within a 3 minute walk of the house, and we ended up being friends with their parents.
on the down side, u need airconditioning! esp if your not used to the heat. theirs alot of sand, which ends up in your house, which is annoying to clean (i used to mop daily). and its good to get a house with cover over the back yard otherwise your kids will spend summer in the house.
