What is the best street in Beaufort?

All the streets are good, I would say anywhere within a 5 minute walk of the cafes and shops is your best best, even on the main road, as eventually a bypass will be built. Then I can see Beaufort becoming another Woodend.

In terms of residential streets, locals have often commented that Livingstone Street is one of the preferred street - while having limited passing traffic, Livingstone Street enjoys easy access to the many amenities found in the town centre and there are many quality homes in this street. In saying this I do not believe there are any Streets in this township to avoid, as I have been selling homes in this friendly and well situated town for more than 10 years and am yet to find one, this is just a common comment stated to me over time
