Reviews of Belfield, NSW

"Great Place to Live"

We have been living in the area for around 3 years & love the eateries, amazing fruit shop/deli, great neighbourly spirit and the suburb's close proximity to transport, schools & parks and the CBD. Would recommend living in Belfield to anyone!

Great for

  • Great local late night stores open
  • Next door to very pricey affluent innerwest
  • Very central for transport/traffic

Looking for a home in Belfield?

"Great suburb surrounded by expensive inner west."

Belfield is a great suburb, great local shops especially close to belmore/belfield/croydon park/chullora/campsie/strathfield with late night butchers, grocers, liquor and convenience stores. There are also local clubs/entertainment ie canterbury leagues, burwood and many restaurants around the area with various cuisine. Belfield is around 11km from the CBD hence prices are only going to go up and it will not lose value at all if anything it risks being quite a popular suburb with increased value, particularly as it is surrounded/next door by strathfield, croydon, burwood etc without paying a ridiculous pricetag. The area is quiet and multicultural, with great local parks and neighbours. The area has history and many federation houses still exist in the area.

Most importantly it is a great suburb to travel to and from for work and pleasure. It is very central and 10mins from M4, M5, city west link, and has easy access to the north and south coast with very little congestion in the area. During a week day it takes 40mins to drive to the CBD and within half hr you are door to door if travelling to work by train to CBD. To travel west in the mornings takes 30mins by car to wetherill park which is fantastic and 30 min rtn.

"Up and coming area"

There are good things on the cards for this place like the IGA and some nice new units all in the main street. I cannot believe the affordability of this area being surrounded by well established neighbouring suburbs.
Burwood Westfield Shopping Centre is only 5 minutes and the city under 20.
Main Street is getting better by the day with some lovely restraunts. Future potential.

"Very underestimated"

Belfield is very affordable considering it is in close vicinity to suburbs with million dollar price tags,
Shoppping in Burwood Westfield in under 10 minutes or 20 minutes drive to the city.
Transport is very good.
You may be lucky to live in one of many streets with great city views.
The Burwood Rd strip is really up and coming just like the suburb.Things are really starting to happen here.
