When buying a property in BONNER where the seller is on the old land-rent scheme, the new buyer has to be eligible for the new land-rent scheme in order to buy the improvements and rent the land. The potential buyer can assess themselves against the new criteria without referring to their solicitor. But, be aware that the new scheme is more socio-econimically targeted than the old scheme, which was open to all.
