Reviews of Brighton Street, Richmond

"Great for eating, drinking and shopping!"

Walking distance to Chapel St Prahran and the heart of Richmond (Swan St, Bridge Rd, Church St), this is an excellent area for eating out, nightlife and shopping, with many great options.

Also walking distance to East Richmond station and the MCG, Rod Laver arena for major sporting / entertainment events.

The area is reasonably quiet, with a great park (Citizens park) nearby and easy access to the Yarra and walking / bike tracks. The botanical gardens is a 10 minute walk away.

Parking can be a little annoying, and permits are required for residents. Traffic can also be painful, particularly on a weekend, though most things are within easy walking distance and there is plenty of public transport around. Access to the South Eastern freeway is very close by.

Overall a great place to live if you are looking for inner city lifestyle.
