"Very noisy street. Buses, cars, trucks from circuit use this street to access Umina Beach shops and Woy Woy.."

Brisbane Avenue, Umina Beach is located on the Central Coast in New South Wales and is considered to be a busy Street. It is an access road from the Circuit to the main centre of Umina Beach and Ocean Beach Road, Woy Woy. It is cretainly not an ideal place to live if you like privacy and dislike noise. Several houses within the street are rented and others owned. Some houses carry noise because of the material they are built. to catch a bus home to Brisbane Avenue from Woy Woy you must travel most often through other parts of the Central Coast including Ettalong and then Mt Ettalong. It is a long bus trip from Woy Woy Station.

When walking down Brisbane Avenue you may run into several people of different ages. It is a mixture of different cultures too. There is a lot of trees in the street, many gardens that blossum and others that may need a gentle hand. The street has varied houses, some two storey and others single storey. The houses are of new and old. Umina Beach was for many originally a holiday destination. Some houses are very large and very modern whereas others have been built-on or just left as they were built. There are a few lots of vacant land and access lanes for other roads.

During the week, Brisbane Avenue is very busy with the Buses, Cars and Trucks going to and from various places. This creates a fair bit of noise. It’s a great place to live for couples and small families. If you walk down Brisbane Avenue you meet the main Street of Umina Beach with it's many cafes and various shops with everything from crafts, clothing, banks and more. The cafes are open during the week from around 7am to 5-7pm then on weekends for various times. There are several Restaurants open late for meals during the week and on weekends. Umina Beach is not far from the ocean if that is what you are looking for. About a 10 min walk from Brisbane Avenue and you are at the Beach. Some parts of the beach allow dogs on leads but other parts there are no dogs at all. Umina Beach is close to Gosford and Woy Woy as well as Erina. Erina Fair is one of the larger shopping centres in the state of New South Wales. many people travel from the City to Erina Fair to shop. Woy Woy also has two large shopping malls being Peninsula Plaza and Deepwater Plaza with everything you could want. The streets of Umina Beach and Woy Woy also have a lot of different shops, banks, Post Office, Chemist and more.

Sport is really big on the Central Coast. Soccer, Football, Bowls, Netball as well as many other sports are played by young and old. Many on the Central Coast, including Brisbane Avenue, have dogs. Young and old walk their dogs, take them for a coffee, tea, bruch or lunch. It is a good talking point.
