Reviews of Burnt Street, Nunawading
"Central street near everything"
I recently leased a unit in this Street and found it to be popular due to its handy location. It's only minutes walk to the shops, train station and parks just over in Luckie Street.
Most properties are older and need an update, but you can't beat the location.
Good rental return for investors and always popular due to location.

"Sometimes unsightly but not all unpleasant either"
While the flats can be unsightly and the streets may be untidy at times you always see people sitting outside chatting, children playing and people are generally friendly. The people are not wealthy to say the least but what they might lack in money they make up for in family unity and living by modest means keeps people more grounded. At least the children are outside playing instead of playing on the computer. The best part about the street is that it is very close to transport. A medical clinic, chemist and 7-11 are at the Springvale Road end of the street. There is also a small park for children to play and of course in the next street is the big and beautiful Tunstall park. Down the other end of Burnt street there are no flats, mainly houses and units and they are more pleasant looking.
