When someone says "they live on the greens in Butler" where is that exactly?

Originally when they were selling the land in butler there was a few different areas - seahaven, the dunes and the greens. I used to live in the dunes part. From memory the greens was north-east of connolly drive but I cant remember the road names that border it sorry.

I had no idea about this! I just thought it was Brighton! What's the section called between Kingsbridge Boulevard & Benenden Avenue, Marmion Avenue & Connolly drive?

Sorry but I'm not sure about that section - there used to be nice looking signs at the start of each section, not sure if they're still there (I moved from butler 6 years ago) , saying 'the dunes' 'the greens' and 'seahaven' I think there was also an area called the 'vistas.' My guess is that section your asking about was 'the vistas.' It's all still butler of course but when they first sold the land seahaven I think was a bit more pricey as it was meant to be 'private' which basically meant no state housing. This may have changed by now.

That's okay, I don't think the signs are up anymore. I remember them on the side of Marmion Avenue but I think they were just points of interest in the area. Either way seeing as Seahaven was more pricey due to not having any HomesWest, it can't be our area (what a shame lol). There is 3 state housing homes on our street & 1 behind us.

Sorry Kerry, I have no idea, I've lived in Butler for 14 years & never heard of that term. Unless that person is referring to a street name such as Bollach Green or Melvich Green maybe?
