Can anyone tell me if there would be scope for a local painter / decorator.

Can anyone tell me if there would be scope for a local painter and decorator to live and work , servicing the area locally? I come from a small town originally in the UK and will be relocating with my wife and boxer dog from WA to NSW, and we really like the look of Camden and all it has to offer.,
My wife is a graphic artist and would also like to stay in the industry if there is enough work for her in Camden and surrounding areas.
