Carinda Drive, Glenhaven, NSW 2156

Carinda Drive is one of the prettiest streets in one of the loveliest Hills suburbs.
It’s a leafy green street, with a large park – Anne Prior Reserve, which has some playground equipment (not suitable for toddlers). In comparison to some of the other, more recently built on streets in the area, Carina Drive is more verdant, with a green outlook.

The road leads off busier Glenhaven Rd, passes by some side streets, and becomes something of a circuit as it joins in to Mills Rd at the end. Mills Rd is a cul-de-sac in one direction, and joins back up to Glenhaven Rd in the other.

The blocks of Carinda are generally large, some around an acre, and most of the properties are also. Many are grand residences featuring swimming pools and large entertainment areas both indoor and out.

Glenhaven has many facilities of its own, and there are more, close by. Castle Hill and the Castle Towers shopping centre are around five minutes away, and there are many nurseries and good schools. Glenhaven even has a Steiner School.

The property prices are varied and it’s possible to pick up a comparative bargain, but the value is good for more expensive properties when you compare what you get for your money with other Sydney suburbs (such as coastal).

The M2 gives good access to the city – but of course is very busy at peak times. Public transport’s not great.
