Reviews of Carrington Ave, Katoomba

"Great views, gorgeous houses, quiet yet close to main street"

A one sided street with views over the valley to the cliffs of Leura. Big old houses, colonial/federation style, lovely to look at with beautiful gardens. A childrens park right opposite our house, barely any traffic on this road, on the adjoining, not too much. Lots of access to bush walks, straight across the road, and many within a five minute walk either way. Echo point, where the Three Sisters are, is a short walk of maybe 10 minutes from here. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk up to the main street of Katoomba where there is lots of groovy cafes, restaurants, and shops. Supermarket, pubs, health centres all within easy reach.

This street is lovely, I never tire of looking at the beautiful views and stickybeaking at all the gorgeous houses.

Katoomba is a great place to bring up children, you just have to not mind cold weather, mist and rain. There is a public primary school 2 blocks down on Merriwa St, Katoomba Public. It's like, a 3 minute walk from this street. The high school is a 7 minute walk in the other direction, towards Echo Point. And then there are a few privates within a few minutes drive. Lots of available daycare/prescool care.
