"Main Road with Charm & Views"

Hmmm... this is an interesting one. A client (owner occupier) recently bought a property in this street, and it was gorgeous - district ocean views, garden apartment, the size of a semi and with Art Deco character features - for only Low $600k's. The property didn't have parking but in this particular section of Carrington Rd, parking is not difficult. It was a great buy!
On the downside, this is a long main road, so I can't say that overall it's a great street. There are many delapidated buildings and some sections are not at all desirable. But, I'm sure over time this will change... The street is in a great location, with access to Coogee, Clovelly, Bronte, Queens Park & Randwick - without a doubt you'll always find a spot on the beach or shade under a tree in one of the many parks nearby.
My tip - do lots of research on this street - speak to the neighbours, talk to council about plans for the area, buy with parking where possible - take your time choosing where in this street to live. There are gems, and there are some shockers. Good luck!
