St Lucia Golf Links just over the Walter Taylor Bridge is the closest public golf course to Chelmer - off Carawa Street, it is a very attractive 18 hole course. Brisbane City Council website has more information.
The Hillstone function centre is also at Golf Links and hosts a number of public and private functions there - the 100 Acre Bar/Restaurant is very popular with Chelmer/Graceville locals for long, lazy lunches overlooking the course, and it's a great spot for Melbourne Cup day!
