Reviews of Cotton Street, Shorncliffe

"Undiscovered Gem!!"

Shorncliffe is undoubtedly an undiscovered gem in the Brisbane investment market, situated 20 minutes drive north-east of Brisbane city, and located on a dead-end promontory. Surrounded by the magnificent Moreton Bay seaside on no less than three sides, and with stunning clifftop sea, ocean and city views, Shorncliffe is virtually undiscovered. Of Shorncliffe, Cotton Street is the one highest in demand, as it's the first street off the waterfront. Shorncliffe Highlights:

absolute waterfront location
no traffic lights in the whole suburb
made up entirely of beautiful turn-of-the-century period housing
private schools
golf and sailing clubs
old world country feel - 20 minutes from city
direct city train service (30 minutes)
charming shopping high street
wide boulevard-style turn of the century streets

Cotton Street, lined with grass verges and stunning red poinciana trees, most more than 50 years old, is irrisistibly beautiful, one of Brisbane's prettiest streets. The Cotton Street go-cart derby, hosted every Australia Day, draws in families and kids from miles around, and adds to the irrisistible charm of the Shorncliffe area. A great place for families. Demand for homes is fabulously high in this area.
