Does Currumbin Creek Flood?

Hi.
Looking to purchase a house near the creek and worried that it will flood?
Can a local give me some information please the area is listed as flood liable?
Has the RSL Club ever flooded - it is a little closer to the creek that the house.

I lived very close to the rsl and our garden flooded 4-5 times a year. The factories out the back smell too. And the noise is bad 7 days a week.
Look somewhere else if I were you.
