Is there really a flooding problem on Edithvale Road?

I'm looking to move to Edithvale and, in particular, Edithvale Road, but a surprising find on YouTube showed footage of some pretty major flooding there after rain. Is this a normal state of affairs in Edithvale or were there other factors contributing to the flooding in 2007 and 2011?

Flooding hasn't been a problem in the last 10 years.

In the last 9 years that I have been living and working in Edithvale some streets including Edithvale Road have been known to flood when we have extreme rain conditions, Edithvale road has the wetlands on both sides of the road and dips in that spot, I believe they have fixed or are trying to fix problem, the whole area including Edithvale road is having drains updated to deal with all the multi-unit and apartment developments taking place in the area which has been placing strain on current draining system. My street had its drains upgraded a couple of years ago and has no problem now when it rains heavily, but streets that haven’t still have problems dealing with excess rain.
