The entire beach is, at different times, an off-leash, on-leash or no dogs area, changing summer to winter (see Kingston City Council website for current times).
Bicentennial Park in Chelsea has a large but unfenced off-leash dog park. The closest fenced off-leash dog park is a 5+ minute drive away in Mordialloc.
There is currently a push to council to approve a fully-fenced off-leash area near the Edithvale lawn bowls, across from the velodrome.
