I'm very interested in this area. Anyone commute into the city for work? whats it like. The local pubs and restaurants it look like it pretty good to me? i'm a middle income IT nerd not looking to live with bogans and raising a family. Is it bogan?

Hi Peter,
Im both a resident (owner) and most certainly not a bogan. Im an estate agent based around 3181. I absolutely love the area, its green, serene and the neighborhood is friendly. There are always those in almost every suburb who are a bit shall we say "low brow" but other than that over all its wonderful, the lifestyle is great and of course the prices are affordable. Being a realist its a slower gentrification than areas like brunswick but in the 5 years i have been there its certainly starting to change for the better.
