French Street, Launceston, TAS 7250

Clearly one of the worst streets for everyday mobility, parking, daily lifestyle is French Street.

Which in fact is on a terribly sloping steep almost never ending part of Launceston. Besides any views are personal that do not affect residents in such a painful way.

Like the heading, French Street living feels like you are living above the clouds! The views over Launceston and down the Tamar River are uninterrupted and simply breathtaking. The blocks of land on the city side of French Street are spacious, really giving the sense of luxury living.
The street is lined with stunning greenery, is only a hop skip and jump to the local park, coffee shops, CBD and Hospital. This is honestly my favorite street in Launceston.

French Street is accessed via Lord Street, Southern end of St John Street and a steep walking track from the northern end of St John Street. This street has some of the best views in Launceston positioned on the crest of a hill with homes on its northern side overlooking the CBD and Tamar River. Homes on its southern side have views over South and West Launceston. An Edwardian period street that has seen a number of properties re-developed to take advantage of the views.
