Ganges Street, West End, QLD 4101

I have lived at Ganges Street, West End, for six years and never during that time considered living anywhere else. The West End Community is very special and I am so happy that I have this wonderful experience of living in West End. I worked in the city and if I felt like it I could walk to work in about 35 minutes. Otherwise there is a bus stop on the street and also the option of walking down the hill to the Citycat stop. Can't think of a nicer way to travel to work than on a ferry! The other very important aspect of living at Ganges Street was the closeness to the park and lovely walk along the river. Every morning and evening there were a lot of "riverwalkers", just like myself.
Walking up the street to get some Greek or Thai takeaway I nearly always met a neighbour doing the same thing and we stopped and had a chat. Or having a nice meal at one of the nearby restaurants. Not much traffic on weekends and no barking dogs that interrupted my sleep were other great aspects. Ganges Street will always have a special place in my heart!
