What is the aircraft noise like in Lower George St, Erskineville?

Hi everyone - am looking at purchasing a property on George St in Erskineville, towards the bottom of the street on the west side. Is anyone able to advise what the aircraft noise is like in that area? Am a little concerned about it. Thank you very much for your help.

Not much of the noise this comes from resident of this area long term resident 40 years and counting, we only need to work out the traffic rat run and bring back erskineville to what it used to be years ago.
we end up with a bit of noise from cars and traffic but planes are not normally an issue. it used to be less planes but i suppose more run ways have been opened hence an increase in noise.

good luck

Nate000. Firstly, great to see you are looking in Erskineville. You will love it here. You are fairly protected in George Street from the aircraft noise. They fly mainly over St Peters/Newtown for the western runway and they the North South runway will come in over Redfern. You will be able to hear and see then but not so much of an issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your purchase. Let me know if you need any help.
