What are the job opportunities like?
My partner and myself are coming to Australia for a WHV next year, hopefully for 2 years and eventually (if we like it) to become sponsored. Judging by photos, I'm in love with Gerladton. I will have a degree in Mental Health Practice and my partner is a Chef De Partie in a Michelin star (so could be a sous chef in a standard establishment) are the job opportunities great?

Have you had a look at our suburb reviews? This is what one Homely user had to say about employment opportunities in Geraldton:
"There's also plenty of employment due to local industries like fishing, farming and mining. Even with the recent mining boom ending Geraldton has enough other industries so there's always work for anyone who really wants it."
