Glencoe Avenue, Werrington County, NSW 2747

A nice and quite street with fantastic neighbours. I love living this street and know all my neighbours by name.
Occasionally, you’ll get someone speeding down the road, but that happens everywhere.

I lived in this street for ten years (opposite the lake).
During daytime home opens of our house Werrington lake, whilst overgrown, looked picturesque, the place for picnics on summer days. Boy, were we wrong. Truth was, I couldn't go to the Lake without my cranky German shepherd, and once that didn't deter some sicko from following me and making lewd suggestions.

In the time we were there, there was one suicide, (found one Sunday morning by dog walkers), a friend of mine was sexually assaulted cutting through to the high school, I witnessed a couple getting really explicit on the fence at 10pm one night, there were numerous spot fires, dumped torched cars. The lake just seemed to attract low-life loiterers and teenage trouble makers. It's simply too isolated.

Now that I am a mother, I am really grateful I'm not raising my children there.
