This street is the nicest street I have ever lived on - beautiful neighbours who look out for each other, quiet street with a car maybe every hour or so - I've left doors, cars, garage doors and gates all open without any issues. It is surrounded by and includes huge big trees you don't find in any other housing estate. I have resident kookaburras that sit in the tree and come for a daily dip in the pool and some beautiful wallabies that hop past. The houses in the estate are all beautifully designed. It's an oasis and the back of our house looks out over all this bushland - it's so private and calming.

Gordon Cct consists of approx 50 high quality homes located in the exclusive Veranda Estate. Each and every house is unique on the street, many architectually designed and many with views to the city, Brisbane river and the Great Dividing Range in the southwest. It is a great place to raise a family as it boarders Brisbane's largest park - Rocks Riverside Park and has its own exclusive walk way straight down to all the park has to offer. You can ride a bike to the city or Ipswich directly along the bike paths without even crossing a road. What I like most of all in this little pocket of the world is that many of the residences have kept large native trees and one half of the road has been left as native vegetation. Lastly it is only a short walk to the train at Oxley and many large shopping ctrs are located within 10 minutes (Indooroopilly or Mt Ommaney). A great place to live and a better place to grown up.
