Where is the closest swimming pool to Guildford?

The swimming pool is next to the Leagues Club, on the corner of Tamplin Road and Guildford Rd. on the Holroyd side of the railway line and over the Pipeline.
There's an indoor Olympic-sized heated pool and an outdoor half olympic pool. There is also a child's pool. The grounds are landscaped and the complex is well-maintained by Holroyd Council.
During Summer there are many school groups that use to pool from mid-mornings to mid-afternoon. Time your visits to not coincide with them if you intend to do lap swimming, as the dears will get into your lane and complain if you accidentally chop them in the head.
On weekends it can get very busy in warmer months. Some of the families/kids can get a little feral.
A few years ago I witnessed a pool-going mother demolish a young female pool attendant for asking her daughter to stop dive-bombing into the crowded outdoor pool. The mother chased after the attendant who had to take refuge behind the counter, and was left in tears by a barrage of invective, with the duty manager, instead of supporting and comforting his worker, was apologising profusely to the mother who had threatened to sue council for traumatising her daughter. The whole time, the little angel was standing next to her mother with a supercilious smirk on her face. I and others who witnessed the whole thing were so outraged we took it upon ourselves to comfort the attendant and tell the manager he was incompetent. He then asked us to all leave! Lol.

Other pools are in Pitt Street, Parramatta and Burnett Street, Merrylands West.
