"Quiet, friendly street in a very convenient location - fantastic!"
Many residents have occupied their homes for 20+ years in this street (and suburb) because it is such a good place to live and nothing in nearby neighbourhoods compares well price-wise. These are some of the reasons we have stayed so long:
Convenient for public transport (Kensington Rd is a go-zone).
Very close to excellent high and primary schools (Marryatville High and Primary, Loreto, Pembroke, St Ignatius, St Joseph's, Mary McKillop college) - and on bus routes to many others.
Close (walking distance) to Norwood with its great faciliities (restaurants, pubs, cinema, shopping) - but not as busy or noisy as Norwood.
Walking distance to several lovely parks (Tusmore, Hazelwood, Kensington Gardens).
Quiet street in general and safe area.
Close and easy access to city.
Friendly neighbours - and mixed ages and types of families and people.
The kids have loved it (the only danger is they may never want to leave home!).
