High Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060

High Street is a long street that is classed as North Sydney, however for all intents and purposes, you're in the thick of it all on the Kirribilli side, whilst also within easy walking distance of North Sydney and all its shops, transport and restaurants and pubs.
High Street runs from the entry to the Cahill Expressway and the Harbour Bridge, right down to the beautiful water and the High Street Ferry Wharf. There are buses at your door, Milsons Point train station & North Sydney train station within a 5 minute walk, and also High Street Ferry Wharf, and Kirribilli Wharf a short walk away. Convenience stores are dotted about (one on High Street itself which opens early & closes late, and a dry cleaner) and Kirribilli Village is only a 5 minute walk around the corner.
Monthly Kirribilli markets are fantastic, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants, a butcher, chemist, dentist, newsagency, takeaways, bottle shop,etc. There's nothing better than wandering down the road on the weekend and sitting in the park on the Harbour with a coffee and a newspaper. It really has the best of everything - there is no need whatsoever for a car. Walking home over the Harbour Bridge after work of an evening is the perfect way to unwind. The view never gets tired. New Years Eve fireworks are BRILLIANT, and there's nothing better than being able to enjoy them and then be able to walk home within 5 minutes!
The area has a mix of singles, couples, young families and retirees and everyone is very friendly.
