Reviews of Jenkins Street, Collaroy

"Wide, Leafy street super close to the Beach"

Neighbours are friendly, and many have small dogs. Not really a party street, often dead quiet. 2min walk across Pittwater Rd to the beach. Restaurants, Surf rock hotel and Collaroy RSL, shops and buses to City, Manly, North Sydney, Chatswood, and North along Pittwater Rd very frequent and only 2 mins walk. Convienience store around the corner open 365 days a year. Street is very leafy for a unit street, and wide as well. Even with cars parked on both sides of the road cars going opposite directions can pass each other. By far the best thing about Jenkins St compared to the other Collaroy unit streets is you can go down The Avenue, and turn right at the lights at Pittwater Road. Other streets without traffic lights are a nightmare to get out of when turning right in peak hour. The only bad thing is parking. When looking to buy, ensure your unit block has plenty of visitors spaces and ensure residents don't park regularly in these spots like they do in ours. Otherwise visitors always have the beach carpark if they don't mind walking across the street.
