Occasionally houses sell for in the mid $400s in Calder Rise Estate, and the most expensive houses (Borrell Street and Overnewton Rd) can sell for up to $3M or more. There are many nice areas to live that are over $1M for a typical house such as Petrik Drive, Church Street, Faye Crescent. There are also nice areas to live with prices around $600-$700K near Burrowye Crescent. In short the suburb caters for most budgets with the deciding factors typically being the size of the land and the size of the house.

hi Rob, any feedback on Augustines Way?? Just a little concerned with traffic congestion near Overnewton. Cheers

RobBell

The traffic created by Overnewton is the worst on Old Calder Hwy heading towards the city. Many cars turn into Augustines way to avoid this. It is not too bad coming from the city heading down Old Calder as they seem to have right of way at the round about at Overnewton Road. Of course the bus also goes down Augustines Way. The traffic is problematic between 8-9 am and 3-4 pm. If you are looking at the house currently for sale I am guessing high 5's to low 6's. There are no bad areas in Keilor, but this is not one of the premium locations.

Thanks Rob! Much appreciated
