A simple no is the answer but to elaborate, the first answer is accurate. When we moved here I was dubious about that same thing. We found a nice little cottage on a very quiet street, literally 3 minutes walk from Belmont Forum Shopping Centre, bus stops all in the same area stopping at the Forum. The Belmont Tavern is a 3 minute stroll away too and a very nice meal they serve there! Beers good too! Oats Street Train Station is about 7 minutes bus ride away, that works out well. Honestly every time I think about it I find it hard to see the down side. There is a lot of industrial areas in Kewdale but if you hold out you will find a good property for a decent price in an area where everything is really at your doorstep.

Not really, the housing area is separate from the industrial area on the other side of Leach Hwy. Most of the streets are green lined with lawns, varying quality with some old and some new development.
