King Street, Richmond, VIC 3121

King Street, while visually not as pleasing as some other Richomd Streets, is a fantastic place to live.

Whether you enjoy football or not, being so close to the "G" means great access to Yarra Park, for nice walks and to the atmosphere of Melbourne's sporting and entertainment hub.

Yarra Park is the local doggie social, 90% of Richmond/East Melbourne dogs are all trained off-lead and enjoy regular play-time with the fellow canine's in the park. Whether its early morning or after work, you will always find another local taking a stroll and up for a chat.

For inner city life, King street has a very suburban community atmosphere. All neighbours get along very well and the annual street party goes off very well at Christmas each year. Neighbours collect each others mail, bring the bins in and say hello each morning.

With so many local pubs and restaurants to enjoy, and all within walking distance - going for a nice stroll before taking up a posi where ever takes your fancy will become a regular occurance.

The Tan is a lot closer than you think, across Punt Road and through the park and your there, its literally a 5 minute walk, so going for a run in the morning or after work is an easy option.

The botanical gardens are obviously just as close and many of the neighbours with children often stride down there for a mid morning coffee or picnic! its also great after a really bad day at work - the serenity is amazing.

Parking is the worst part, 9 times out of 10 you will get a park int he street but you must be prepared for the occassions when you will need to park one or two streets away. Vandilism is an extreme rarity though.
