Kingsbury along with Agnew, Overend and Norman Crescent have a mixture of lovely little cottages and grand old Queenslanders. It's under 4kms to the CBD yet despite it's proximity to the city it remains very leafy with some magnificent trees and lovely parks and spaces. There is the occassional ugly unit but the asthetic of the area is just classic laid back quintessential Brissie. The location is wonderful. The gym is 5 minutes walk. 5 minute walk to the cross river ferry to New Farm Park or the Powerhouse for a show or cocktails. Sensational bike ride into the city or down to Bulimba. Wine shops and corner stores abound. IGA and Foodworks a short drive away.....and a Woolworths close by at Bulimba or Morningside. The only negative is the occassional clown speeding down the street...usually in very expensive European marques.....money doesn't always by sense!
