Nothing better than walking your dog on the beach - one of the magnificent things about living near Largs Bay beach. This suburb is part of Port Adelaide Enfield Council, and here is an excerpt from their online guidelines about having a dog on the beach

Dogs on the Beach
To provide equal accessibility for dogs, dog owners and non-dog owners to beaches under the Council’s care, control and management, Council has approved the following conditions:
Daylight Saving (October to March)

• Between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm dogs must be
Before 10:00 am dogs must be under effective control;
on a leash not exceeding 2 metres in length.
Non Daylight Saving (April to September)
• Dogs must be under effective control at all times.

So going into day light savings looks like after 8pm, when the days are longer, you can let your fur baby loose on the beach!
Enjoy,

Georgina

Hi Mandy,
I live locally and can't say we have ever had any major flooding. In saying that however, there are many streets that run between Military Road and the Esplanade that experience pooling of water midway down their streets (when there is unusually heavy rain) where they have a dip - it can get about a foot deep, and I'm not sure how that impacts houses sitting in that dipped part of the street.
Hope that helps.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
