There's a few different playgroups, based on certain characteristics of the parents and children. Certain ages, ethnicities, number of parents, etc. Go here for a list of groups that are recognised by the ACT govt (there's a number of independent ones around as well): http://www.communityservices.act.gov.au/ocyfs/childandfamilycentres/programs-and-services

The closest playgroup to MacGregor is in Chisholm and meets at the Community Centre on Wednesdays in the morning.
