Looking for a home in Macquarie Links?

"A great suburb in a good location"

It's not often people know where Macquarie Links is and we find ourselves often saying 'do you play golf? - it's the estate around the golf course' and then the Ah-Hah moment kicks in.

We bought a home in the Estate two years ago and we are a young professional couple with no children. The Estate appealed to us firstly for value for money in comparison to the surrounding new housing estates along with the benefits of living in a gated community. The landscaping is beautiful, the pool and tennis court are a bonus and the security service is fantastic.

The location is very convenient being right near both M5 and M7. We can get to the airport in about 30 minutes on the weekend and to the City in 45 minutes. The Ingleburn train station is nearby with great access to the City and plentiful parking. The Ingleburn town centre has a great cafe, Woolworths, hairdresser, Thai, Indian, Chinese etc. And soon there will be a nice new shopping village with Coles and new shops.

The Golf Clubhouse is also within the Estate that offer a decent coffee along with breakfast or lunch. Very convenient.

The only issues we have had is with Strata. Yes you have to pay Strata dues which is well worth it given the standard of the community. But there are some pretty pedantic by-laws which most residents ignore (rightly so) however you still get the pesty letter in the mail to remind you are in breach. Simple things like rubbish bins out of sight, no trailers in your driveway etc. So if you aren't keen on sticking to the rules - this place probably isn't for you.

We really enjoy living here and look forward to raising our family in this great Estate.

"Best choise we every made"

We moved in to Macquarie links a year ago.
We love the place. City views with Centerpoint view from home. International golf course with a club house and a very good restaurant with a function room. Golf membership is included with buying a house. Macquarie Links bus service to Ingleburn station. Kids friendly environment with tennis court and swimming pool with BBQ facilities. Walking and bike tracks. Very greeny with lots of trees. Closer to M5 and M7. Macquarie Links is upgrading to Cable Broadband.

Rentals in Macquarie Links

"Wish we had moved here sooner."

We have lived at Macquarie Links for 3 years and wish we had purchased here earlier. It would have been fantastic when our children were younger for safety and open areas for them the play in. Now our children are older, we are centrally located for transport to schools. The communlity bus is fantastic for access to other school buses & to Ingleburn station so the older kids can get to uni in the city. My husband uses the M7 everyday and our daughter uses the M5 - both motorways are very close by. The 24 hour security is a bonus and gives us all peace of mind. The security guards are very friendly and use the community board at the entrance gate to wish residents a 'Happy Birthday' etc and keep us up to date with important notices. The gardeners that beautifully maintain the community grounds through out the week do a great job and are always friendly too. Most residents are great neighbours (though some of them could reduce their driving speed at times - you know who you are!) The estate is very quite and we have the bonus of views over a golf course too. The golf club has a nice restaurant and is great for Sunday morning breakfast. Many of the residents have other family members or friends that have moved into the estate as they are so impressed whilst visiting. We moved there due to friends and 6 months after our move, my sister moved in too.
