"Quiet and close to everything"

Such a great street... a nice mix of old and new and very near to the beach. Lucky residents have the best of both worlds... a quiet location and so close to cafes, shops and the beach

"Superb little hollow nestled emtres from the best beach in Perth!"

Margaret Street is a short street, nestled into the first hollow behind the first sand dunes of North Cottesloe Beach.

For the quintessential Cottesloe life - sand, surf and sun (not to mention cappucino, Eggs florentine and Mango smoothie); (or boardies, bikinis and Havanahs) this is the place to be. A short walk to the beach and surf club - close enough to carry your waveski, close to Daisy's cafe - who make the ultimate muffin (white chocolate and rasberry), and close to all the action when you want it.

For beach front pubs, restaurants, cafes and the regular Sunday session Cottesloe is the spot. It can occassionally seem a bit crowded and busy, but living in a street like Margaret Street you can escape the bustle just as Harry Potter escapes the Muggle world by jumping onto platform nine and three quaters!

The small relaxed and pleasantly worn houses are making way for larger, more modern places that make the most of the views, but Margaret Street is managing to retain its character. The relaxed and fun atmosphere is unlikley to ever change.

Enjoy!
