Close to good schools, transport, cafes, major shopping centres. Walking distance to new river walk.
15 minutes to the city off peak or 25 in peak traffic - lots of options to keep off main roads to get into city.
Plenty of parks and friendly locals.

"Great street"
Market Street south is a great street, no flooding to any houses in the street during the big flood of 2011/12 - the very lower houses at the bottom of the street / hill came close
Great for
- City, doctors, vets and schools are very close
- Coles and woolies are only 3 minutes away
- Bus stop is 1 minute away, direct bus to city
- Wildlife, and large trees in backyards

"Market st, south"
Have lived in Market st SS, for appox 5 years - its a great street, with no problems or issues. The houses within the street, are constantly being upgraded and renoed. close enough to the city (15min drive during weekend - 25 min during peak hour door to door), but far enough away within the hills and trees to feel like your at home and away from the from the city

- People are friendly / and keep to themselves
Not great for
- If you live on the hwy side of the street - you may get traffic noise during peak hour
