Maroo Street, Hughesdale, VIC 3166

Maroo Street runs in an East- West direction linking Poath Rd and Princes Highway service lane. A wide street it is predominantly used to locals as it essentially ends in a T- intersection at either end.
The street has a combination of period homes on large blocks and many 1970/1980's units. No doubt in its heyday it would've been quite an impressive street prior to development.
Unfortunately the large tower at Chadstone Shopping Centre over looks the street in almost a menacing way. It is literally ' there' for all to see.
Stemming from the street to the South is Bushbury Court and to the North is the leafy and almost tranquil Fellows St. Both are located down towards the Poath Rd end.
The location overall is brilliant. It is within easy walking distance to Hughesdale Railway Station and Poath Rd strip shops, not to mention even closer to Chadstone Shopping Centre.
