Reviews of Mary Blair Way, Warnbro

"Dodgy street with feral neighbours"

This street is very dodgy with neighbours who do not feel safe to be around. The street seems attractive enough but living in it was a nightmare. Every house seemed to have 2 large aggressive dogs and the neighbours were anti-social and loved to hold street parties with their music revved up in the middle of the street. The neighbours except for one or two were aggressive and nasty and to be avoided at all costs. Had I known, I would never have built in that street in the Green Meadows estate.

It is also not a safe street for families. One feral neighbour with his fag hanging out of his mouth and his tinny in the other had his eye on my 13 year old daughter. He told me he was thinking of inviting her to one of the ongoing street parties. I quickly moved her out of the area and we have never returned. That was back in 2001 when I built my home. Do not move there! Most of the other neighbours are feral too!

"Dodgy street and not for families"

This street has a lot of fairly new houses, many under 10 years old. However,it is not a good place to raise a family. There is a sense of a lack of safety and the neighbours are fairly rough and noisy. Many of them frequently play very loud music at all times, including into the small hours of the morning, with heavy base and do not care about the impact that this has on people who do not enjoy such loud rock music. There is a shopping centre within a short drive and there is a 10 minute walk to the bus. There are schools nearby as well. Socialising amongst the neighbours consists mainly of very loud house parties and noisy street parties. Most of the people who live in the street are blue collar workers. If you are looking at buying into this street as an investment, or you are young and don't mind incessant loud rock music and neighbours who don't care about your opinion of their lifestyle and music, you might like to live in this street. If you have children, this is the last street that I would choose to live in. There are no trees or birds of note and the street feels somewhat deprived. The gardens are fairly basic, although most are neat. Although there are some parks nearby, the area doesn't feel good to walk around.
