"Yound people would love this area"

Mary Street is located in the heart of St Kilda, and runs from Beaconsfield Parade to Canterbury Road. It is one of the few streets in the area with fantastic greenery, and location is second to none. It's extremely close to beach, and very close to Fitzroy St.

There are few issues though, mostly due to homeless people, parking and noise. While there is on street parking, it can be taken up very quickly on Friday and Saturday nights with all the young people going out on Fitzroy Street. This can be very frustrating. Second of all, while most of the homeless people tend to stick up towards Fitzroy St, they do tend to wander around...but not a major issue. And finally, the street can be a little noisy.

However, these factors should deter anyone form looking to live in this visually appealing street.
